Things are moving right along here at Altamira Properties with our Highland Park Gem project. In fact, the exterior is almost finished (save a few landscaping details). All the concrete steps in the front and side entrances have been repaired and resurfaced, also new stucco covers the entire foundation of the house, giving it a great new look.

The gorgeous Sandstone Fireplace got a good power wash and then every piece of stone was firmly reset and re-grouted, it looks brand new. The garage and back-yard shed got a new color as did all the fascia and soffits on the house.

Inside, we got the entire lower level completely gutted, it is now ready and prepped for the new construction. Coming are two new ample size bedrooms, a family room, another bathroom and a laundry/utility room!

Still to come:

We still have more work to do outside, including the construction of a path to the new patio facing the center piece Sandstone Fireplace, and the planting of new shrubs around the front garden areas. Next week, demolition  in the kitchen and enlargement of the upstairs bathroom.
